People prefer to wear new clothes and buy new jewelry and adorn it to celebrate the festival of Diwali.
Homes and offices are lighted by light wires, candles or even the traditional diyas. The significance of lighting in this festival is to ward off the evil dark from our lives. Children and adults alike indulge in burning fire-crackers to enjoy Diwali irrespective of their religion barrier.
